Objective: Raise awareness of the Scotland V England Fans Match, hosted by Vauxhall

Activity: As part of the build-up to the Scotland V England Vauxhall International Friendly at Celtic Park, a historic fans match took place and was screened live on the Vauxhall Football website and YouTube/Google+ pages.

During the international matchweek, Macesport coordinated the appearance of two football legends, Craig Brown and Terry Venables, at a Vauxhall Retailer to help maximise the Fans Match and the Vauxhall brand. The former international managers were able to cover the senior and supporters’ fixtures with the media and gained widespread coverage.

Coverage: In addition to written content and branded videos, imagery appeared in several national outlets, in both Scotland and England, within their pre-match coverage. Further exposure was gained in car-related publications.

Extensive coverage was featured, including Sky Sports (Read More), STV (Read More), The Sun Motors (Read More), Daily Record (Read More) and The Scotsman (Read More).
