Heaton Joins Precision Goalkeeping
Precision Goalkeeping are delighted to announce that Burnley and England International goalkeeper Tom Heaton will be joining the Precision team.
Heaton joins on a four-year contract and will become the newest goalkeeper for Precision.
The England International is set to become the face of Precision Goalkeeping and will be heavily involved in the development of the brand, including the introduction of his very own goalkeeping glove range.
The Burnley captain will be wearing Precision’s brand new Premier collection initially, before moving onto his own range later in the year.
It was an incredibly successful year for Heaton during the 2015/16 season, with the goalkeeper captaining the Championship side to the league title and promotion back to the Premier League.
It didn’t stop there for the 30-year-old, as he made the England squad that travelled to France for Euro 2016 and also made his international debut against Australia in a tournament warm-up fixture.
Heaton said: “I am delighted to be joining Precision Goalkeeping and wearing their gloves for the upcoming seasons.
They have been outstanding in creating a specific glove that’s tailored to my exact needs.
“They’ve allowed me to share my input, thoughts and creativity into the gloves, which is very important to me. I am excited to be a part of the brand and I am looking forward to working with them for years to come.
He added: “Precision is a relatively new brand in terms of history, but it is one that is certainly on the up.
“Their attention to detail and fantastic feel of the gloves is very exciting to be part of and I can’t wait to wear them in the Premier League this season.”
David Sanderson, Precision Brand Director, said: “We are delighted to have Tom Heaton on board with Precision GK. He has had a fantastic year, both domestically with Burnley in achieving promotion to the Premier League, and earning his first international cap for England.
“Precision GK has had a successful number of years, including lifting the Premier League trophy in 2016, and we continue to go from strength to strength. With Tom now joining us with his experience and enthusiasm, we see a very exciting future for the brand.”
He continued: “We will be working very closely with Tom to develop a brand new range of goalkeeping gloves, which we will launch in November this year.”
