Macesport client, Kitman Labs has been shortlisted for the 2016 Sports Technology Awards in the ‘Best Technology for Manager and Coaches’ category.

Kitman Labs, who recently announced partnerships with Barclays Premier League sides Everton and Norwich City provide software to professional and elite teams to help reduce injury risk and increase player availability.

The Silicon Valley-based company’s Athlete Optimization System™ provides accurate, markerless motion capture and delivers real-time alerts that give coaching staffs the actionable insights they need to take preventative actions before injuries occur.

The Sport Technology Awards represents the most exciting and innovative organisations in sport globally. The winners will be revealed on April 15 in a ceremony attended by over 500 senior industry figures.

Founded in 2012 in Dublin by Stephen Smith, former Head of Athletic training at Leinster Rugby, Kitman Labs has grown rapidly, opening its first US office in 2014. Built by practitioners for practitioners, Kitman Labs has agreements around the world with Irish Rugby Union, Bath Rugby, Gloucester Rugby, NFL’s Miami Dolphins, the Barclay’s Premier League’s Norwich City and Everton and the NBA’s Detroit Pistons.

Macesport, Britain’s leading independent sports PR, communications and sponsorships activation agency, announced last month that it had been handed a European brief to manage public relations for sports technology company Kitman Labs.
