Precision Goalkeeping Sponsor FA Cup’s Lowest Ranked Stopper
Precision Goalkeeping has provided support for the FA Cup’s lowest ranked team by supplying their number one custodian, Karl Wills, with new gloves.
Wills was already a fan of the brand having worn the Precision Goalkeeping gloves prior to his sponsorship.
The Northern Premier League Division One North custodian made contact with Precision Goalkeeping via Twitter in the build up to Warrington’s FA Cup First Round Proper encounter with Sky Bet League 2 outfit Exeter City.
Precision has since provided Wills with Schmeichology 4 goalkeeping gloves, which he will wear for the competition opener on Friday evening.
Precision Brand Director David Sanderson said: “There is a certain magic surrounding the FA Cup and we wanted to get involved by sponsoring Karl.
“We’re hoping to see Karl and Warrington continue their impressive FA Cup journey by causing a few upsets against teams further up the footballing pyramid.”
Warrington’s first FA Cup game, against Exeter City, will be shown live on BBC Two and will kick off the tournament for the 2014/15 season.
Wills added: “It has been great that Precision have sponsored me for the FA Cup and I’m looking forward to pulling on my new gloves for the first time against Exeter City.
“It’s a big game for us and I’m hoping to play my part for the Warrington fans and deliver a performance befitting of the Precision Goalkeeping brand.”
