Macesport will join England Women at the 2015 World Cup in Canada, after the Three Lions completed a perfect qualification on Wednesday evening.

The Three Lions thumped Montenegro 10-0 on Wednesday evening to make it 10 wins from 10 in the World Cup qualifying campaign.

Doubles over Ukraine, Wales, Turkey, Montenegro and Belarus saw Mark Sampson’s side top Group 6 with a remarkable goal difference of +51.

England Women’s manager Sampson said: “We’re delighted, in terms of the performance and the overall campaign.

“To get through a campaign winning every match, conceding only goal and scoring the amount of goals we have you have got to give huge credit to the players and staff.

“[It] was another game where we had to be professional, show our quality and I thought for large parts we did that.

“We were rewarded with some fantastic goals and obviously a big scoreline.

“I’ve got to give the forward players huge credit [for] the creativity they showed today [and] the ingenuity [they showed] around the penalty area to work some opportunities against a packed Montenegro defence. There was some fantastic football in there.

“Going forward now we know that if we are creating those chances, when they come we will put them away.”

Paul Mace, founder and managing director of Macesport, commented: “England’s Women’s team have had a superb campaign and we have followed them all the way through via Vauxhall’s digital football channels.

“We have some exciting plans ahead to activate Vauxhall’s sponsorship of the Women’s game in the build up to Canada 2015 and have our fingers crossed that Scotland can qualify via the Play-Off.

“Women’s football continues to go from strength-to-strength in terms of participation and awareness something we are very proud to be a part of.”

Scotland still have a chance of reaching the tournament Play-Offs.

The Play-Off draw will take place on Tuesday 23 September.

The draw is seeded meaning that Scotland will face either Netherlands or Italy in the two-legged Play-Off semi-finals on 25/26 and 29/30 October.

The winners of those two ties will then meet on 22/23 and 26/27 November to decide the final European qualifier.

Macesport handle the media and PR activation of Vauxhall, as part of their sponsorship of the four Home Nations football teams.
