Abbey Clancy, the wife of former England striker Peter Crouch, has starred in a short film that brings to life the liberating sound, style and sensibility of rock ‘n’ roll – The Vauxhalls.
Shot by one of the most influential names in UK subculture – James Brown – and starring the iconic British model, the short explores the expression of individuality through fashion, music and attitude.
Encapsulating the raw essence of rock ‘n’ roll, the film showcases the latest addition to Vauxhall‘s chic ADAM range, the Vauxhall ADAM ROCKS AIR.
There’s also a cameo appearance by a custom-made ADAM necklace created by London jeweller, Lara Jenkins.
The film captures the fictional, aspiring band The Vauxhalls preparing for a late night gig in an unknown London location.
Abbey gets ready alongside her band then takes the wheel of the ADAM ROCKS AIR to drive the band through London to the venue.
The ADAM’s state-of-the-art Intellilink system plays the film’s soundtrack, ‘Heart Is a Beating Drum’ by The Kills, while the car’s full-length electric folding canvas roof frames the London’s skyline.
Vauxhall‘s vice president of design Mark Adams explained: “The Vauxhalls explores why rock and roll was so influential.
“As car designers, we work within Vauxhall’s design philosophy but still strive for a significant amount of creative freedom, so it’s imperative for us to engage and understand past, present and future trends.
“Projects such as these help us learn and mould the development of ADAM.”
