Luton Vauxhall Parts Warehouse have shown their commitment to grass roots football by presenting Toddington Rovers Ravens Under-7s with a brand new team kit.
As part of Official Home Nation Sponsors Vauxhall’s wider support for youth football, Luton Vauxhall Parts Warehouse officially handed over the strip to Toddington Rovers Ravens at Vauxhall Luton’s Plant Open Day with the help of an England legend.
John Barnes, who gained 79 caps for his country, made the surprise presentation to Toddington Rovers Ravens’ coach Danny Lawrence and his players.
Barnes was joined by former Sheffield Wednesday and Crystal Palace legend Mark Bright, as both signed autographs for football fans and took part in a Q&A session.
Luton Vauxhall warehouse operations manager Peter Durham said: “Supplying the boys and girls of Toddington Rovers Ravens with a brand new football kit is just the starting point of an exciting new partnership between Luton Vauxhall Parts Warehouse and the club.

Toddington Rovers Ravens’ coach Danny added: “This is a great initiative by Vauxhall and it provides a much needed level of support to junior football clubs around the country.

“Having John Barnes and Mark Bright present the kit to us was brilliant and just further shows Vauxhall’s commitment to the game at grass roots level.”
The Vauxhall Youth Programme is part of Vauxhall’s highly successful sponsorship of all four Home Nations Football squads, from the junior teams through to the senior men and women’s sides.
Launched in 2012, the Youth Programme marks Vauxhall’s commitment to supporting the grass roots sport, alongside their Official Sponsorship of Home Nations football and over 150 Vauxhall Retailers have now joined by sponsoring one or more local teams.
