Precision Goalkeeping stopper David Forde made his 300th appearance of Millwall on Saturday and celebrated the impressive milestone with a celebratory pair of gloves.

To mark the occasion, Precision Goalkeeping produced a special silver pair of gloves, which the Republic of Ireland custodian wore in the Lions’ 2-2 draw with AFC Bournemouth.

Millwall manager Ian Holloway paid tribute to Forde, saying: “Fordey has been a different class, as a servant to Millwall and as a bloke.

“He wants to improve and learn new things all the time. He’s a credit to his profession.

“He will go down in history – look at how many people have been able to play through difficult times at this club.

“Being a goalkeeper, by nature, things don’t always go well so what David has got is tremendous character and an ability to back himself.

“If something’s gone wrong, he’s been able to put it behind him and perform brilliantly.

“He embodies the qualities that we’ve got to search for and create amongst our players, especially the young ones coming through.

“Not many goalkeepers have been at Millwall for so long and managed to produce the form that David has shown during his career here.

“He’s a very good role model, he’s professional and he cares. You can trust him because he’s a steady character and a reliable performer. He’s worth his weight in gold for us.”

The Precision Goalkeeping stable also includes Kasper Schmeichel, Kieren Westwood, Frank Fielding, Andy Lonergan, David Forde, Darren Randolph, Brian Jensen, Robert Olejnik, Ian McLoughlin, Trevor Carson and Republic of Ireland goalkeeping coach and former international Alan Kelly.

I’ve found, over the years, that other kids’ non-narrative writing often serves as the writers essay topics best mentor text as opposed to using published authors’ texts
