The world-renowned Ohio State University Marching Band will bring its unique brand of entertainment to London when it performs at the NFL’s International Series game between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium on Sunday October 25. NFL UK Managing Director Alistair Kirkwood said: “We are very excited to be bringing the Ohio State University Marching Band to Wembley and can’t wait to see what they have in store for our fans. This will be very different to anything we have done at the International Series games before and we know that the band is planning something spectacular to celebrate and commemorate being in the UK. ”

It will be the first time that an International Series pre-game show has been performed by a traditional American marching band and will be the first time that the OSU Marching Band, the biggest of its type in the world, has ever performed outside the United States. Formed on the university’s Columbus campus in 1878, the now 225-strong OSU Marching Band has built its reputation with a series of stunning visual and musical performances at college games. Christopher Hoch, Interim Director of the Ohio State University Marching Band, said: “We are honoured to have this extraordinary opportunity. If you’re talking $10 – $25 price difference, that is more in line with our economy right now and people’s paychecks. Our students work very hard to put on the best show they can each and every time they take the field, and I am so happy for them that they will get to share that hard work with the people of London. We are all looking forward to representing our great university and the great state of Ohio, and we are looking forward to showing off some of our traditions and innovations to a whole new audience. We are really excited for this experience. ”

The Bills-Jaguars game is the second of three International Series games at Wembley in 2015, kicking off at 1:30 p. m. local time (9:30 p. m. ET). As well as live television coverage on Sky Sports in the UK and on CBS in the Buffalo and Jacksonville regions, the game will be streamed live and free to a global digital audience on all devices via Yahoo!

Following the return of a limited number of best seats by the Jacksonville Jaguars, UK fans have the chance to snap them up when those tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday (July 7) via.
