Notts County have moved to sign Precision Goalkeeper Scott Loach on a two-year contract from Championship side Rotherham United, following his release from the club. The former England Under-21 goalkeeper, now 27, had joined the Millers last summer but only made two appearances before spending time on loan with Bury, Peterborough and Yeovil. Loach said: “I was in contact with Kevin Pilkington throughout the season, obviously I was at Rotherham last season, but it didn’t work out and it was a no-brainer for me to come here. “I just want to get back into it and being a Nottingham boy it’s a great move for me.
