Perform at St. George’s Park, the official healthcare provider at the FA National Training Centre, would like to invite media to attend their Transfer Medical Media Day.

The cutting-edge sports medicine facility will run through the Transfer Medical process that all players will need to go through if they are to successfully move club. The centre regularly performs testing on elite athletes, including professional footballers as part of their contract with the Players Football Association.

Leading the mock medicals will be Perform Clinical Director Dr Charlotte Cowie and Elite Physiotherapist Steve Kemp, who is a key part of Roy Hodgson’s physiotherapy team within the England Seniors Camp.

Media attending will also be given the opportunity to take part and undergo their own transfer medical – to see if they are ‘match day fit’!

Date:                     November 26, 2014 (Wednesday)

Timings:               2pm – 4pm

Location:              Perform, St. George’s Park, Newborough Road, Needwood, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, DE13 9PD, UK
