Nottingham City of Football have signed a partnership agreement with Nottingham based company Precision. Precision have been named as the official kit and equipment supplier to the Nottingham City of Football project, a Sport England initiative launched earlier this year. Founded in 2005, Precision, have become Britain’s number one choice for specialist sports training aids and apparel – from elite professional through to grass roots level. As part of the agreement Precision will supply kit and equipment across the programme that aims to increase participation in football across Nottingham. Nottingham was crowned England’s City of Football by Sport England and will receive £1. 6million of National Lottery funding over the next two years. Key challenges to be met include raising the levels of participation in football in Nottingham by 25 per cent, promoting the cultural, social, health and educational benefits of football, supporting diversity among those playing football, and creating new initiatives which can be replicated across other regions in the country.
