Premier League stars Carl Jenkinson, James Tomkins and James Collins this week opened a brand new £1. 2 million Bone and Joint Centre at Spire Roding Hospital. The extension to Spire Roding’s out-patient and physiotherapy capacity was opened by the players during a special Open Day at the Redbridge based hospital. The West Ham players officially opened the department which includes six physiotherapy treatment rooms, a state of the art gym, changing rooms with its own reception, comfortable waiting area as well as three luxurious consultation rooms which will be used by the players as part of their partnership with Spire Roding as the official Private hospital to the club. Players and public alike will be able to experience the new facilities which include the latest in rehabilitation equipment such as pressure treadmill for live Gait Analysis, an Anti-gravity treadmill which is key to post-injury early rehabilitation and a spacious floor work zone as well as offering clinical Pilates, for core strengthening and rehabilitation. With the new facilities we are able to provide our patients with the very best quality of care from their initial assessment through to treatment and rehabilitation with our highly trained physiotherapists, leading consultants and radiologists, as well as offering a superb on-site diagnostic suite, complete with CT, MRI, X-ray and ultrasound scanning facilities. ”
