Last year the Home of Sport came together to offer a ground breaking apprenticeship scheme for 20 young people in Nottingham aged between 16 and 24 to work within a professional sporting environment and gain an NVQ 2 qualification in sports coaching.
Team Nottingham is a joint initiative between The City of Football, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, Nottingham Rugby, the National Ice Centre, Notts County in the Community, Nottingham Forest in the Community and sports charity Epic Partners.
Jointly funded by the Royal Foundation, the charity of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry,
Next Wednesday all 20 apprentices are coming together to meet with Olympic Short Track Speed Skater Jon Eley and they will all be available for a photo-call and media interviews
There will also be spokes persons available to talk about the apprenticeship scheme
