Vauxhall, lead sponsor of the England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales National football teams, has today unveiled the England shortlists for the 2016 Vauxhall UK National Teams Photographer of the Year competition.

The three categories include the coveted Photographer of the Year, Best Individual Photograph and Inspirational #GetIN Photograph for 2016.

The Vauxhall England Photographer of Year shortlist includes Action Images’ Carl Recine, twice crowned the overall Vauxhall UK National Teams Photographer of the Year for all nations in 2013 and 2015.

Cheryl Stibbs, Vauxhall Sponsorship Marketing Manager, said: “Thanks to the 2016 summer of football, we’ve enjoyed another year of record entries and a notable variety of well-captured photographs.

“We continue to be impressed by the quality and passion of the entrants and the substantial interest our awards have created in the photography profession.”
