Facebook To Host In-Game NFL Clips

Facebook has secured a deal to host in-game clips from the NFL, which will see highlights from matches played in the league, as well as other video content, such as news and fantasy football tips, posted directly on the social network’s news feeds.

“This is a small video sponsorship test, and we will be evaluating how people, publishers, and marketers respond to this kind of co-branded video content on Facebook,” a Facebook spokeswoman told the Wall Street Journal.

In 2013, the NFL struck a similar deal with Twitter.
